blogher '08 .....Let's do it!

It's been quite a week plus....as you know, and I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you lovely readers. For those of you who have commented, you have added wind to my sails and I truly feel the strength, fire and passion from all of you! I also feel the encouragement from those of you who choose not to comment...yet (I hope!) I thank all of you for taking the time out of your busy lives to come by here. I know there are A LOT of blogs to read..... says she who is addicted to other blogs .

O.K....how many of you wild and crazy women are going to BlogHer '08, this July in San Francisco??? I'm in. You? You? You?
I can't imagine anything more fun, well.... REALLY, I cannot!

Do tell!

  1. Hmmmm...that sounds like a reason to have a mommy vacation...

  2. I cannot imagine how fun it would be, however, we haven't had a vacation in 7 years, (gotta love higher education and children) so I don't think I would be allowed to go to something alone!

  5. Sounds like fun, but if we go somewhere it will have to be somewhere close this year. Besides if I came to California, I fear I wouldn't want to come home, and I would become a miserable shell of a woman, longing constantly for sun and surf. But, hey, if you ever come to Pittsburgh, let me know!

  6. I'm with Jen. If I got to California, I'd just want to stay. But I'm on the wrong side of the country and in the wrong economic bracket at the moment for a trip of that magnitude. Maybe next year. Or the one after that . . .

  7. I had just entered the blogosphere when Blogher 07 was gearing up. Now that I've been in it a little while and "know" so many more people, I can't tell you how much I want to go.

I won't say no just yet but if I have my way, I will be pregnant and unable to attend. Or maybe I'll just waddle-around and be the designated driver.

  8. I'm jealous that you're going, but I'm way, way, waaaaaaaay to skeert to go. Maybe in three or four years, if the blogosphere is still around!

  11. I have just caught up with your blog and your week and I have to say I commemnd you so much for your mothering. It is so important to protecty and nurture your child's individuality, it is indeed our duty, I believe, as parents. My little one is still so little but I aspire to be the same if, and when, need be.

  12. Sorry for the misspellings! I just re-read my comment and will no longer try to write and hold squirmy baby!

  13. It sounds like so much fun, but I'm not sure I can justify it just yet. It's tempting.

  14. Me Me Me! I may well have been the reason they finally let us start registering, what with the begging and crying and whimpering about WHEN I could sign up...

This is my reward for getting my own classroom (which I totally love) and for keeping up with my passion for writing, even it is sometimes mediocre and/or downright boring.

    Let's meet up!

    Thanks!

  16. OK, a few months late, but whatever... If things work out, I'll be flying in from Israel. I went to BlogHer '07 & was offered a chance to go again (same company that paid for me last year). This year, though, I told them I have to bring my baby with me... I still think there's a chance. If so, I'd love to meet you :-)
