My Interview on Derfwad Manor

The lovely and incredibly HILARIOUS Mrs. G from Derfwad Manor has interviewed me for today's Slow Cook Thursday. Once you find Mrs. G's blog, there is NO going back. You're done in. Addicted. HAVE TO HAVE MORE. She's the best! Thank YOU, Mrs. G!

So, I'm going to kick back today... listen to GIRL's screeching tantrums read some blogs, savor my heavily creamed & sugared Irish tea surely it's time for JackO'Clock!!...alas, no, it's 10am, take a nap keep BOY from "exploring" the new grill... WHERE IS THAT CHOCOLATE??!! and dream of cooler days. It's 104 here today!

If you're new to Motherscribe, welcome! Pull up a chair and sit awhile.

MMMMmmmmm....this chocolate is delicious, don't you think?

It's great to have you here!

Oh, dear. I'm in love with your blog. Damn Mrs. G and her blogging community ideals... I may never leave the computer again.

Lovely to meet you, though! I was a Parker fanatic as well, my Shaun-crazy friends couldn't understand it.

I'm sorry but after reading all that, I am stuck on the mud picture! I want to squish my toes in it! Me and BOY understand each other.

I never knew of your nomadic past. One more piece of the puzzle that makes you so fascinating.

I didn't know your nomadic past, either, tho I did recall seeing the NJ stint (native jersey girl, here)

I really REALLY liked your perfect sunday.

Well look at who I found on Derfwad Manor! I didn't realize you'd only been in CA for 10 years! You fit right in!

Congrats on your spotlight at Mrs. G's!

Hey there, you big superstah!

Loved the interview. What an interesting life you've had.

I loved the interview....the part about your stint living in Somalia was particularly interesting. Military Man lived in Somalia for two years back in the late 80s. Your mother was quite the adventurer.

You are fantastic!

Wow - great interview. (And you were right about Mrs. G - I've already added her to my blogroll. Thanks. I think.)
We definitely have similar interests in music - are you familiar with Loreena McKennit? I love her. And I too cried every week over Little House. (My stepfather would always say, "You crying yet, Janet?" I loved Michael Landon and wanted him to be my father. (Nothing against my stepfather, but you know.)And I preferred Parker over Shaun too, but originally I was a HUGE David Cassidy fan. Never did go much for the blondes.
We're reading - and rereading - the Spirited Child book as well. It has helped us understand her if nothing else.
You and E are terribly cute as the island inhabitants.

And oh, yeah, Viggo . . . mmmm.
That Josh is pretty cute though.

Scott Simon is mine, honey. He's been my Secret Boyfriend ever since 1994, when I heard him giggle while interviewing Julie Andrews. He was embarrassed because he had to use the word "breasts" in front of her. Her response? "Go ahead, Scott. Say it." I didn't know before then that it is possible to hear a man blush. But I did. I love him!

Secret boyfriend: Jim Caviezel...hmmm, and Kalynne doesn't have total dibs on Denis Quaid. First "love" was Jackon Browne...I married a piano player...
E looked totally cute as the professor, but weren't you dressed as Ginger??? Very cute.
Blessings, EJT
