Tina Fey saves my ass this week

I have to admit I've become one of those liberal whiners lately. Sarah. Palin. Need I say more? It's enough to make you want to bang your head against the wall, ruin a good whiskey by chugging it, and gorge yourself on chocolate under the bed covers. But, then there's Tina Fey. I ADORE HER. Tina Fey. Tina Fey saves my ass this week. Because I have become humorless when it comes to the current election season. And that Tina. She's going to help me get my groove back...

  1. My favorite part is where she says global warming is just "god hugging us closer" - YIKES!

  3. I thought about posting this myself this week - it's so funny!!

Tina just NAILS her! Obviously they look just alike, and Tina got the voice and accent perfectly.

I heard Palin went as Tina Fey for Halloween one year. The resemblence is amazing.

    Very funny!!

  4. Ditto on the resemblance. Though Tina (bless her heart!) probably doesn't have stretch marks.

  5. Umm you mean every American woman doesn't adore Sarah?

  6. I, too, am having trouble having a sense of humor about this election. In fact, it just seems to anger me to tears.

Thanks for posting this. I adore both Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, and I admire anyone who can maintain a sense of humor about this!

  7. Have you seen the Funny or Die MySpace/Levi Johnston video? Another piece of great humor to come out of this embarassing debacle.

  11. Inviting the media to grow a pair and then offering to lend them her's...now that's priceless.

  12. I am disheartened by how many people seem to be mobilizing around Sarah Palin. But I am equally disheartened that McCain isn't receiving more criticism. They are both unqualified, for various reasons.

  13. I am just terrified. Every time I hear someone praising Palin I want to vomit. Nope.. no sense of humor here. I loved the skit though.

  14. I love your blog, but I wholeheartedly disagree with you about Sarah Palin. I hope that I (and others like me) will still be welcome here, and that we can all agree to disagree respectfully.

  19. Well, the whole election feels like a comedy skit, so it's very appropriate!

Have you read/seen Palin's interview with Hannity? It reads like comedy writing.
