Dealing with the random boxes of stuff...

School starts in two weeks. My current fantasy of what I'm going to do with that larger block of time with both children in school? Attack the random boxes of stuff! Those boxes tucked away in closets, in the garage, in corners... I grow giddy imagining myself having the uninterrupted time to sort, heave, toss, and put away. And, yes... I am tingly with excitement about it. Tingly? Tingly. It's a sad state of affairs. But, Honey? Whatever flips your skirt...

  1. LOL.
I have so much stuff...I am afraid I will never get every box sorted, etc.
Amazing that I have managed to accumulate so much stuff in just six years (in Sept of 04 we had a flood which completely emptied our basement...you would have thought that I would have kept things streamlined from that point! No Such Luck. God Bless, E

  3. Ah, stuff. I'm a stuff addict. I'm proud of myself because I haven't brought any new stuff in the house all month.

  6. Ooh! Me too! Throwing stuff away really shouldn't bring me such joy, but it does.

Looks like you had a great time on vacation! Is that near Venice, Florida (near Sarasota?)

  7. You, my dear, are an inspiration. We just moved, and as we get set up *enough* to function, those other boxes lose their appeal.

I hope to deal with them early on so they don't haunt me in 5 years, when left to my own devices, I would take a peek at them.

  8. We moved 2 years ago and I still have boxes sitting in what should be the dining room. Now with the youngest entering K, I, too, am planning to attack the boxes.
