Oh, dear. I'm in love with your blog. Damn Mrs. G and her blogging community ideals... I may never leave the computer again.
ReplyDeleteLovely to meet you, though! I was a Parker fanatic as well, my Shaun-crazy friends couldn't understand it.
You were AWESOME!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but after reading all that, I am stuck on the mud picture! I want to squish my toes in it! Me and BOY understand each other.
ReplyDeleteI did your meme, missy!
I never knew of your nomadic past. One more piece of the puzzle that makes you so fascinating.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know your nomadic past, either, tho I did recall seeing the NJ stint (native jersey girl, here)
ReplyDeleteI really REALLY liked your perfect sunday.
Well look at who I found on Derfwad Manor! I didn't realize you'd only been in CA for 10 years! You fit right in!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your spotlight at Mrs. G's!
Great interview and great blog....I'll be back often!
ReplyDeleteYou WERE and ARE awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou were great at Mrs. G's. but that said - how are you holding up in this heat????
ReplyDeleteHey there, you big superstah!
ReplyDeleteLoved the interview. What an interesting life you've had.
I loved the interview....the part about your stint living in Somalia was particularly interesting. Military Man lived in Somalia for two years back in the late 80s. Your mother was quite the adventurer.
ReplyDeleteYou are fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWow - great interview. (And you were right about Mrs. G - I've already added her to my blogroll. Thanks. I think.)
ReplyDeleteWe definitely have similar interests in music - are you familiar with Loreena McKennit? I love her. And I too cried every week over Little House. (My stepfather would always say, "You crying yet, Janet?" I loved Michael Landon and wanted him to be my father. (Nothing against my stepfather, but you know.)And I preferred Parker over Shaun too, but originally I was a HUGE David Cassidy fan. Never did go much for the blondes.
We're reading - and rereading - the Spirited Child book as well. It has helped us understand her if nothing else.
You and E are terribly cute as the island inhabitants.
And oh, yeah, Viggo . . . mmmm.
ReplyDeleteThat Josh is pretty cute though.
WOW!
ReplyDeleteI feel awesome by association :)
Aw, you and your hubby look so cute as Mary Ann and the Professor!! Love that!
ReplyDeleteHey J - Hope you've had a great day - great week. Have a good weekend. See you soon - Kellan
ReplyDeleteScott Simon is mine, honey. He's been my Secret Boyfriend ever since 1994, when I heard him giggle while interviewing Julie Andrews. He was embarrassed because he had to use the word "breasts" in front of her. Her response? "Go ahead, Scott. Say it." I didn't know before then that it is possible to hear a man blush. But I did. I love him!
ReplyDeleteSecret boyfriend: Jim Caviezel...hmmm, and Kalynne doesn't have total dibs on Denis Quaid. First "love" was Jackon Browne...I married a piano player...
ReplyDeleteE looked totally cute as the professor, but weren't you dressed as Ginger??? Very cute.
Blessings, EJT
I'm not new but I wanted to swing by and give you a big old virtual pat on the back for a delightful interview!
ReplyDeleteThe interview was great. I only found Mrs. G a week or two ago and it is true! I loved her immediately. What a cool thing to click over to her and find YOU!
