What, what is your decision about THE JOB?
I said...... thanks, but NO thanks.
AAARRRRGHHHHHHHH!!!! ...the sound of screams reverberating off of the San Gabriel mountains.
It is 9:15am Monday morning.
I believe my recruiter has begun JackO'Clock early.

I'm late to this party but I went back and read the details - I can't wait to hear what lead you to your decision...
Good for you! How's E feeling about all this?
You seem so happy with your decision.
I'm glad you made a decision- sounds like you are happy with it to, which is the best thing!
Send your recruiter a bottle. :-)
Sounds like you made a decision that feels right for you.
Good for you--you seem at peace with your choice :)
Gut choice? If so I think it must be the right choice!
This just educated me to read ALL the recent posts before I just start commenting. But congratulations on taking my advice before I gave it.
And, oh, yeah, I am SO stealing that cartoon.
ha, funemployment....
Okay just so I understand...jack o'clock early is 9:15? Man you are west coast!
Looking forward to the details.
KEEP BELIEVING
I agree...
The recruiter deserves a bottle!
You deserve a party too!
Funemployment, Whoo Hoo!!!!!
Blessings, EJT
Hooray for Funemployment!
"2 roads diverged into a wood..."
No matter which path is taken, there is bound to be some regret.
Good for you dear. It's tough to say no, but I think you'll be glad you did.
Good decision! I think the right thing will come along at the right time.
I feel your struggle. But way to go girl! You won't regret your decision!
Whew! When I read that your would-be boss is "a perfectionist" AND "very set in her ways" AND "blunt" ..... then the former assistant with the "bad attitude" ? my thought was, run away, run very far away.
Point #2: I've got 3 kids and a P/T job I find very rewarding, my hand-picked career. Yet, I cannot imagine working F/T. I don't have enough time/energy as it is. I'm not a very organized, efficient person, maybe that's why. Hats off to all those F/T working moms who successfully juggle it all. I don't see myself being happy doing that (or my family). Purely the logistics.
Good for you! When the time is right there will be a job out there for you.
