What, what is your decision about THE JOB?
I said...... thanks, but NO thanks.

I'm late to this party but I went back and read the details - I can't wait to hear what lead you to your decision...
ReplyDeleteGood for you! How's E feeling about all this?
ReplyDeleteYou seem so happy with your decision.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you made a decision- sounds like you are happy with it to, which is the best thing!
ReplyDeleteSend your recruiter a bottle. :-)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you made a decision that feels right for you.
Good for you--you seem at peace with your choice :)
ReplyDeleteGut choice? If so I think it must be the right choice!
ReplyDeleteThis just educated me to read ALL the recent posts before I just start commenting. But congratulations on taking my advice before I gave it.
ReplyDeleteAnd, oh, yeah, I am SO stealing that cartoon.
ReplyDeleteha, funemployment....

ReplyDelete"2 roads diverged into a wood..."
ReplyDeleteNo matter which path is taken, there is bound to be some regret.
Good for you dear. It's tough to say no, but I think you'll be glad you did.
ReplyDeleteGood decision! I think the right thing will come along at the right time.
ReplyDeleteI feel your struggle. But way to go girl! You won't regret your decision!
ReplyDeleteWhew! When I read that your would-be boss is "a perfectionist" AND "very set in her ways" AND "blunt" ..... then the former assistant with the "bad attitude" ? my thought was, run away, run very far away.
ReplyDeletePoint #2: I've got 3 kids and a P/T job I find very rewarding, my hand-picked career. Yet, I cannot imagine working F/T. I don't have enough time/energy as it is. I'm not a very organized, efficient person, maybe that's why. Hats off to all those F/T working moms who successfully juggle it all. I don't see myself being happy doing that (or my family). Purely the logistics.
Good for you! When the time is right there will be a job out there for you.
