BOY is sick with the stomach flu. He's never been like this. Let's just call it...Vomitus Diarrheaus. It was almost 10 hours of vomiting starting last night until about 4:30am this morning. He would vomit and then fall asleep in my arms within seconds. As soon as the vomiting stopped the diarrhea started. He's running a fever and is completely zapped. He can take some fluids now, but in small doses. I'm exhausted. I'm hoping he'll feel much better tomorrow. And that the rest of us don't get it...

oh no! Mommy, you must 'fight' the stomach flu, pleaseee.... *fingers crossed* don't get it or else no one will be the nurse for little Boy....
ReplyDeleteI know how that feels.... completely exhausted, completely helpless and completely worried - when will it all end....
hope he gets well soon... like NOW!
Oh gosh, that is horrible! It is so hard on us mom when our kids are sick. I hope it is a 24 hr virus.
ReplyDeleteOh, poor little guy. I always try to remember the treatment for diarrhea is the BRAT diet - bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. But of course you can't do that if he's not keeping anything down.
ReplyDeleteMake sure he keeps his fluid intake.
Oh no! Here's to healing.
ReplyDeleteI'm reading out of sequence. I'm so sorry for boy. Your heart breaks when they don't feel well and you can't make it all better. Gatorade in little sips and maybe some toast if that stays down/in.
ReplyDeletePoor baby!
